As I mentioned before, I am currently busy trying to launch a new product in the World of Warcraft niche. It would also be my first time to try to sell a product on Clickbank.
The work around to become an affiliate as a Malaysian is pretty simple and there are a couple of ebooks on it in the market. However as I was trying to become a publisher I got a little paranoid on how to approach it.
I used to think that I could be accepted if I just used a Singaporean virtual office address but after several failures from my fried Peng Joon, I got abit disheartened.
He tried a Singaporean address once, it didnt work.
He tried to access Clickbank through a proxy, it didnt work also.
But when I emailed Gobala about it, he said he did nothing unusual and it worked for him. So I am thinking maybe its all about luck.
Obviously Clickbank would be my first choice as all World of Warcraft publishers have their product on Clickbank and affiliates are more prone to promote products if its on Clickbank. If all fails I guess I have no choice but to put it up on Paydotcom.
Last Sunday I took some extreme measures to try to set up a publisher account for my product on Clickbank. With the help of Peng Joon on my side, we instructed my girlfriend’s brother (who stays in Singapore) over MSN to open an account for me
Hopefully, it gets approved. It better be!
